Nothing malicious.<\/p>\n<p>But this week was a test.<\/p>\n<p>One of my goals for March is to increase the traffic to <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.growthtools.com\/blog\">Videofruit<\/a> by nearly 3x (t<em>he exact goal is 10,000 unique visitors)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To do that I&#8217;m implementing a few things:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Running weekly experiments<\/li>\n<li>Going through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quicksprout.com\/double-your-traffic-in-30-days\/\" target=\"_blank\">Neil Patel&#8217;s 30 day challenge<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Tripling my hours spent working on the blog<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong style=\"font-style: normal;\">Here is how Week 1 went\u00a0<\/strong><em style=\"line-height: normal;\">(March 3rd &#8211; 6th):<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"https:\/\/blog.growthtools.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/results-of-traffic-increase-march3-6.png\" alt=\"results-of-traffic-increase-march3-6\" width=\"800\" height=\"529\" \/><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.growthtools.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/results-of-traffic-increase-march3-6.png\" alt=\"results-of-traffic-increase-march3-6\" width=\"800\" height=\"529\" \/><\/noscript><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In short the overall traffic<strong> increased by 128% <\/strong>in four days.<\/p>\n<p>Another item of note is the growth rate of the site&#8217;s email list. It grew by a total of 86 subscribers over those 4 days.That equates to a <strong>7% signup rate<\/strong> for new visitors.<\/p>\n<h2>So, what did I do?<\/h2>\n<p>Simple&#8230;I posted more.<\/p>\n<p>For the past 2 months I have averaged 1 post per week.<\/p>\n<p>That post has been a 1,500+ word &#8216;Formula&#8217; style post.
