(It might not sound like it, but this is a HUGE win and relief for many companies\u2014more on that in a second.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">As Raj put it, \u201cFor them, the value is, even though it&#8217;s me doing the workshop, they&#8217;re hosting it. So their name keeps getting in front of their audience around sales topics. So they continue to establish their credibility with their market.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">To show you exactly how Raj secures and executes these partnerships, let\u2019s break down a recent one he did with wildly successful results.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h.631p1bdnjfa5\" class=\"c11\"><span class=\"c9\">Guest Workshop Partnership: Predictable Revenue<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Predictable Revenue is an organization that helps companies build their outbound sales team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/6Mh7SfwcCya-fFrbSJINnv6ifHHVVGWZ8vv6K30FEnMmfm277E53W2_GA3TYqbcIzehzwjP7RWAp12JVsXJvSZ6AgDzNy-bDlBfE5aFj9IJNBE9wcskq9xRfQ3ROa4rh1whqg-yp\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/6Mh7SfwcCya-fFrbSJINnv6ifHHVVGWZ8vv6K30FEnMmfm277E53W2_GA3TYqbcIzehzwjP7RWAp12JVsXJvSZ6AgDzNy-bDlBfE5aFj9IJNBE9wcskq9xRfQ3ROa4rh1whqg-yp\" alt=\"\" \/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">So yeah&#8230;pretty easy to see how their audience would overlap with the types of customers Raj wants to attract.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">From mid-summer to early fall they did one guest workshop together per month. In each workshop, Raj covered a different part of the sales funnel for startups.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"c4 lst-kix_rentny3vwtne-0 start\">\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">Workshop 1 (June): Elevator Pitch<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">Workshop 2 (July): Personalized Cold Emails<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">Workshop 3 (August): Demo Calls for SaaS Companies<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">Workshop 4 (September): Sales Presentations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">None of this was content Raj had to create from scratch. Each one was a workshop he had already done with other partners. This time, however, he was packaging them all up with a new partner as a unique series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">The results?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"c4 lst-kix_39j5raz76ca4-0 start\">\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">Around 150 people signed up for each workshop, and approximately 50% showed up live each time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"c4 lst-kix_39j5raz76ca4-0\">\n<li class=\"c2 c3 li-bullet-0\"><span class=\"c1\">So far, Raj has generated 5 new customers from those workshops alone.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">When you factor in how much a customer is worth to Raj, that\u2019s a big deal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">\u201cOne of them signed last week and we\u2019re doing a $6k starter project, but there\u2019s a clear path toward a $70k deal,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h.2mtxm6qnyx93\" class=\"c11\"><span class=\"c9\">How Raj Landed This Partnership (Including His Exact Email Script)<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">You might think it took a lot of magic to land an entire series of guest workshops with a prominent company in his space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Surely Raj had an existing connection, a warm introduction, or a massive audience to offer them in return&#8230;right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Wrong. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">All it took was a simple email.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Raj had been a subscriber to Predictable Revenue\u2019s email newsletter for a few months, which allowed him to get a feel for their content and style.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Once he had an idea for a partnership that would be a good fit, he wrote an email (using the pitching framework we show our clients) to the person who manages PR\u2019s newsletter, Veronica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Check it out:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/A-MYrLUxI1k2OSMSCvpmQmihkeuQ1YpasiVFsw13-dTSur3irVHMrpoyfR0iSH7BUHsrNkBQfWUgdKAnYG8K-ZCoiH0pTi1fSNaGJDtbwSqlqpgnaV4O3bWTPny1QsKvJMvIPjP-\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/A-MYrLUxI1k2OSMSCvpmQmihkeuQ1YpasiVFsw13-dTSur3irVHMrpoyfR0iSH7BUHsrNkBQfWUgdKAnYG8K-ZCoiH0pTi1fSNaGJDtbwSqlqpgnaV4O3bWTPny1QsKvJMvIPjP-\" alt=\"\" \/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/5J4wiCg0o50HOKudQIWwJ5PuTza1v-qozPnviAumKSuaIEab9KJjJI0y7dZU1SnclL0XAptc5ORRZPiFdPMecDbJgAD7aTM1Os4gGd27GnFKTiK8MeyC8blSPB-cKu6bzFj1-ylh\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/5J4wiCg0o50HOKudQIWwJ5PuTza1v-qozPnviAumKSuaIEab9KJjJI0y7dZU1SnclL0XAptc5ORRZPiFdPMecDbJgAD7aTM1Os4gGd27GnFKTiK8MeyC8blSPB-cKu6bzFj1-ylh\" alt=\"\" \/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">As you can see, Raj didn\u2019t start by pitching an entire series of workshops. It was actually the partner who came back and suggested expanding the partnership to multiple workshops!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">That\u2019s why you should never doubt the power of providing a potential partner with quality content. Like I said earlier, this can be a HUGE win for other businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Here\u2019s how Raj put it:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">\u201cAs an outsider, I look at Predictable Revenue and I&#8217;m like, \u2018They have all their [stuff] figured out already.\u2019 And then it turns out they&#8217;re starved for content, and they&#8217;re like, \u2018Hey, we can [feature you] every month for four months.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">The cool part is that, even months later, Raj continues to get leads from these workshops because the recordings are on Predictable Revenue\u2019s YouTube channel. It\u2019s become an evergreen source of free high-quality leads for his business. You can even find links to all of the recordings on Predictable Revenue\u2019s website:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/2e1GmAswnD7PPcRMnMXxgUh4Sukp0YbVb5UGkhuzxpfpqy7mtpJvyZyvXGYtpjKwqkQdUnjNh4SSrZj0jm4_vp4tlK8qdfYInQ1st2q-pDuip8u0WuUtOAeFP7YsE0n1BeUqZmBk\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/2e1GmAswnD7PPcRMnMXxgUh4Sukp0YbVb5UGkhuzxpfpqy7mtpJvyZyvXGYtpjKwqkQdUnjNh4SSrZj0jm4_vp4tlK8qdfYInQ1st2q-pDuip8u0WuUtOAeFP7YsE0n1BeUqZmBk\" alt=\"\" \/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h.tdv8lvtgbh45\" class=\"c11\"><span class=\"c9\">Startup Accelerator Workshops: The Other Type of Guest Workshop That\u2019s Killed It for Raj\u2019s Business<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">One of the most valuable things you can find for your business is a certain type of group that attracts your best-fit clients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\">For example, for some businesses, it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.growthtools.com\/blog\/guest-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"c5 c10\">mastermind<\/span><span class=\"c5\">\u00a0groups.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\">For others, it\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.growthtools.com\/blog\/guest-workshop-partnerships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"c5 c10\">Facebook<\/span><span class=\"c5\">\u00a0groups.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Raj\u2019s industry has a unique type of group that is like a magnet for his best-fit clients\u2014startup accelerators.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">These are organizations that bring in a cohort of startups that they typically invest in or just enroll in a curriculum. There are typically 10-30 companies in a cohort. The accelerator will often bring in guests to lead workshops for all of the companies in a cohort.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Guest workshops for accelerators have been another major source of growth for Raj this year\u2014even though they\u2019re typically pretty small audiences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">\u201cThe conversion rate on that is kind of at a point now where, as long as the room is qualified, if there are 20 people in that startup pitch workshop, three to eight of them will become a customer,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h.apvqa2p8suw8\" class=\"c11\"><span class=\"c9\">How to Build a Guest Workshop System to Scale Your Business<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"c2\">The reality is that anyone can put together a one-off guest workshop. It was something Raj had done successfully in the past. But the reason why they went from a one-off tactic to a reliable growth engine for his business this year is because we helped him create a <span class=\"c10\">system<\/span><span class=\"c1\">\u00a0for lining them up month after month (and optimizing each opportunity for sales).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c1\">Here\u2019s how he described the difference:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"c2\">\u201cIt&#8217;s a matter of investing in the process. If you do things as one-offs, you might get one-off success. But then what do you\u00a0do the next<span class=\"c1\">\u00a0time?
